Dead iPod

There has been a distinct lack of posts this week. This is due to the battery on my iPod dying; it will not hold a charge.

So I have two options:

1. Get a replacement battery. This isn't supported by Apple, but then as my iPod is a 5th generation unit that's about 9 years old then I doubt that it's under any type of guarantee / support cover anyway.

2. Get a whizzy new iPod. The latest iPod "classic" has a 160GB hard drive which will fit all of my music (for now). Spotted a nearly new one on Amazon for £99. that's just under half price.
